Great Grammy Moment With Alejandro Sanz

No worries. But you should.
Sanz, 39, is a popular Spanish balladeer -- a pop balladeer -- who caught my attention seven years ago on the Grammy Awards when he sang his international hit, "Quisiera Ser," with Destiny's Child.
I recall recording the awards show and watching it back, skipping past his performance in the beginning because I had no idea who he was, and I'm not too hip to Latin music. However, in the name of giving anything a chance, I listened and was overwhelmed.
Bought his MTV Unplugged CD, and it's been in my rotation ever since. And just a side note, but I do believe Eric Marienthal is playing with the Grammy band there. I had this notion that perhaps one day I could play with those cats at the Grammys on a song like this, and while it's not an impossible feat, I mention this to note that only the "A" players need apply because Marienthal is one of the best.
Besides, I figured Destiny's Child would drown him out or ruin the performance by not meshing with the Latin flavor. Not the case at all. They were hot, and you could tell they thoroughly enjoyed the performance. For me, this is one of the best Grammy performances I can remember.
